So far it’s been a spectacular holiday. We’ve settled into our flat that overlooks the Princess Street Gardens and Christmas Market, gone to the National Museum of Scotland, had lunch at the café that J.K. Rowling wrote the first Harry Potter in, tried many different whiskys (my favorite is the darker Talisker from the Isle of Skye), and traveled north to Inverness to see the Culloden Battlefield (it was c-c-c-coooolld). Scotland is beautiful, the people are friendly and I could listen to their accents forever. Here is a few pictures from the last couple of days, including our Christmas Eve Dinner.
